 John and his wife Elisabeth arrived at New Hope Church in January of 2007. Originally from Portland, Oregon, John attended Multnomah Bible College.
Before New Hope, John served as a Youth Pastor for 7 years and then as Worship Pastor over 3 years at East Hill Church in Gresham Oregon.
Prior to his years in ministry, John worked in the secular music world as both a musician and recording engineer.
John's ministry passions are to see people connecting with God through true worship. And secondly to see people realize and experience the new life that only Jesus can give.
His favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"
John's personal interests include skiing with Elisabeth, being a loving dad to Olivia & Quinncy, writing and recording music, and a good game of basketball! |
