 Nancy Austin came to New Hope Church as the Director of Children's Ministries in the summer of 2003. Nancy is a professional educator with ten years teaching experience in both Christian and secular schools. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and Master's Degree in Education and Educational Technology from Azusa Pacific University.
Nancy's skills in organization and expertise in teaching serve her well in this important leadership role. Studies suggest that most people who receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior do so as children, and Nancy's passion is that children who come to New Hope will begin a lifelong relationship with Him.
Nancy and her husband, Glenn met in college and married in 1990. Bend residents since 2001, they spend their free time reading and cooking and playing with their dog, Charlie Brown. |
